Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our licensed specialized nurse care services in South Florida. We are committed to providing transparent information to help you make the best choice for your family's care needs.

Scope of Services

Where do you provide clinical nursing?

Specialized nursing for wound care and ostomies is exclusively provided in facilities like ALFs, rehabs, or hospitals. We do not provide skilled clinical nursing services in your home.

What is offered for in-home?

Inside the home, we strictly provide non-medical homemaker and companion support. This focuses on daily activities and safety monitoring without performing any skilled medical procedures.

Is medical care available at home?

No, our home visits are for companionship only. If your loved one needs clinical skin or wound management, our licensed nurses deliver that expertise in clinical settings or care facilities.

Where can clinical care be found?

Families can access our professional nursing for ostomy and wound management at local ALF's, nursing homes, and podiatry offices throughout the South Florida region for complete safety.

How do these two services differ?

In-home care is purely supportive and non-clinical. For skilled medical tasks like wound integrity, we partner with facilities to ensure treatments happen in a proper clinical environment.

How do we get started?

Call us to discuss your needs. We will help determine if you require in-home companionship or if we should coordinate specialized nursing at one of our partnered clinical facilities.

Care & Safety Protocols

How are care plans customized for each client?

How are your caregivers trained and supervised?

Every client receives a comprehensive in-home assessment. We tailor our companion and homemaker services to your specific routines, preferences, and health requirements, ensuring a personalized fit that promotes independence.

All caregivers undergo rigorous background checks and specialized training in memory care and safety. We conduct regular field supervisions and performance reviews to maintain the highest standard of professional care.

What protocols are in place for emergencies?

How do you ensure the safety of clients at home?

Safety is our top priority. Caregivers are trained in emergency response, including fall protocols and cardiac emergencies. We maintain 24/7 on-call support to handle urgent situations or scheduling changes immediately.

We perform regular home safety evaluations to identify and mitigate hazards. Caregivers are active participants in monitoring the environment, ensuring clear pathways, and providing steady assistance during daily activities.

Can the care plan be updated as needs change?

Absolutely. We understand that health needs are dynamic. We stay in close contact with families and medical providers, allowing us to pivot care plans quickly to reflect the evolving level of support required.
